Teresa is a Georgia native, graduating with honors from Georgia State and earning her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. In practice, her breadth of experience includes business litigation, corporate compliance, employment law, whistleblower suits, and personal injury. Such a wide range of experience in both plaintiff and defense work proves to be advantageous as Teresa quickly pinpoints litigation risks, claims, defenses, and other issues of concern for our clients.
Before attending law school, Teresa served her community as a law enforcement officer in Metro Atlanta for over a decade where she realized her sense of advocacy was not policing, but rather speaking out for others. In law school, Teresa found her voice as an advocate and has since worked with Hispanic, LGBTQ, and other minority-centered nonprofits. Currently, she co-chairs the law student outreach committee.
When out of the office, Teresa enjoys concerts and traveling with her wife, Tanerah, her son, and two Boston Terriers. They currently reside in Sandy Springs.
